Who I am!
My name is Arvid Waelkens. I'm a musician playing percussion (conga's, cajon, bongos, djembé, drums, ...) and the trumpet (trumpet, flugelhorn)
I studied at the Conservatory of Ghent and followed masterclasses with Benny Wiame, Steven Devolder (Mucho Gusto), Bart Maris (Flat Earth Society, Moker, The Whodads, Briskey, ...), Hans Bossuyt (The Whodads, Mucho Gusto, Briskey, ...), Jan Desmet (The Swigshift, Mucho Gusto, ...), Dirk Brossé (Composition).
