Thus the name Doc. Nothing I have done in life has compared. If you are a Marine, you understand, Semper Fi! Attached to numerous units with the 2nd Marine Division, FMF. Worked as a flight medic and in the ER for yrs after I got out of the service. I finally burned out, gave up the medical field and taught myself to be a stonemason.To the 241 Marines, Sailors and Soldiers that lost thier lives on the morning of Sunday, Oct 23, 1983 in Beirut Lebanon, after a sucide bomber detonated his truck in the middle of our barracks while they slept. On that black Sunday, 109 children became fatherless. During the period of 1982 to 1984, a total of 273 servicemen died while serving the United States peacekeeping mission in Beirut, Lebanon. Semper Fi brothers, your mission is complete.
