About Me

STIRFRIED TRAX

Stirfried Trax is a London based label which was founded by Ricsta Stirfried in 2006 with a view to delivering quality original dance music releases which will surely stir fry up your head. Mixing up a spicy buffet of influences from genres including Electro House, Breakbeat, Indie and whatever sounds fresh and takes our fancy.
Stirfried came from a background of live bands, parties, clubs, Dj's and general wokking up a great night out. Over the years we have honed and defined our unique sound and have a growing back catalogue of music which delivers a certain kick up your head and gets the bodies bouncing on the dancefloor.
Our first release in March 2006 'Be Divine' featured the gorgeous voice of Adele, who we are sure needs no introduction as she becomes a modern diva of our times.
Next came a long lasting colloboration with international DJ Justin Cookee who brought new ideas from his many years of making people go bendeleg from his stunning vocal house & funky breaks sets behind the decks and promoting his bendeleg parties around the world.
Cookee then introduced us to the amazing vocal talent of the lucious lyrical lady MissC. Tracks such as 'Bounce Move Shake' & 'Mister Mysterious' came fizzing out the kitchen to massive reactions on the dancefloors on which they are played.
Our last release of 2008 saw the Kiddha EP's which came from a partnership between head wokkster Ricsta and South London DJ Paul Kelly of 'Jump' by Funkatarium notoriety, which offer more spiciness of a Dub variety to our smorgasbord.
Other releases include tracks by Brixton incognitos The Mighty Atom, Venom Factory, and numerous quality remixes which will have tasty offerings by two other new musical motleys: Ike R. Rhumba (whose preference is electro), and Lord of the Tings, (who lives in the land of breakbeat).

They've also been busy wokking away on the live band,The Stirfried Frequency, which is set to take club, live and festival stages by storm this year performing our releases live in a more extravagant Stirfried fashion.
Stirfried are constantly on the lookout for new talent and hidden gems for future collaborations, so if you think you fit in with our philosophy or can add ingredients to our unique menu then please get in touch and we will stirfry your noodles.
All our tunes can be downloaded via all good download sites like the ones on the left or by using our trackitdown player above so please feel free to take a wander through our offerings and leave us any comments.
Remember when you want to get all mixed up........
Keep it Stirfried!
