I am an actor and Brit wrangler, which is not unlike being a goalie - but with less padding. I recently moved from New York to Chicago (on the auspicious date of October 31st) to continue to wrangle the Brit, but more importantly, to give the theater and improv scene here a go. My second Chicago show just closed, and I'm in the conservatory at Second City.Also, I have a washer and dryer IN MY APARTMENT!! And a deck! And a fireplace! Sometimes I just sit around and sniff Tide and marvel at the wonder of not having to haul a giant bag of laundry down four flights of stairs, stuff it in a too-small, rickety granny cart and roll it across two blocks to the laundromat, dodging double-wide strollers, where I then have to un-stick it from the cart and jockey for a washer that works. Repeat with dryer, and reverse the journey.I also have a car.Wow. Life is different here.
