Well I'm just your average run of the mill Cape Verdean- I know you're asking yourself what the hell is that- yes it is a real place, look on a map for god's sake! Since my family and I are probably the only ones in Tucson, I guess its understandable that people are unfamilar but trust me - its does exist. I am orignally from New Bedford, Mass which is south of Boston. My accent is pretty much gone but it has the tendency to pop out at times. When I'm not convincing people out here that Cape Verde is a real place, I usually am just trying to relax and try to avoid getting burnt to a crisp when I go outside. I try to tell myself that I'm acclimated to the heat but my body seems to disagree everytime I get three shades darker on the ride to work. I miss the snow!
