Dallas L. Parker III was born in Tacoma, Washington and grew up in a musical family. His father Dallas Parker Jr. was a music promoter in his teenage years in New York City and his mother Heidi Parker is involved in the gospel music business. Dallas found his musical talents at a very young age, he was dancing at the age of 4 and singing at the age of 5, he joined his church choir at 8 years old and later in his teens start performing with various local groups and artists in Tacoma until age 16. He then relocated to Spokane, Washington in 2003 to begin studio recording with his older brother Andre Ervin. His music styles consist of R&B/Soul,Pop and Hip-Hop. He has dance moves that can rival performers such as Usher, Omarion and Chris Brown, a more lyrical rap swagger and a grown mature type of voice often compared to Jaheim and Usher. What can be expected from Dallas is amped party joints as well as slow jams, and mid tempos. His music story tells and talks about issues that involve everything from relationships to everyday struggles, and the emotions of love. Dallas is finding new ways to fuse Pop, Hip-hop, and R&B, as you will hear on his solo debut ranging from a variety of different sounds. Yet, it is obvious he is a singer first and states that, "I'm a singer that raps, not a rapper that sings." He also has done collaborations, written and produced songs with over two dozen local artists, just in the city of Spokane alone. He has worked with for years, artists such as Deekon Jones, The Insiders, Jinx, Frijiea, Seven Sound and The Lost Tribe, just to name a few. " I continue to work with these artists not only cause we run in the same circle or cause we grew musically together but we all want to be taken serious with this and that's what i need to be surrounded by...serious, talented artists like myself". With an anticipated album "Identity" finally released and performances in damn-near every nightclub and concert house in Spokane. Dallas has circulated a buzz flowing and building in his city growing stronger with each appearance. He ends on this note: "If you like real music and entertainment then im sure i'll be somewhere in your playlist".
