You want to know about me? Well, I can give out an idea. I'm a recent father of an awesome, healthy, baby boy named Ethan Chase. He's doing something new everyday. I love this kid to death. I got my lovely fiance, Elisa right there with me. We haven't set a definite date yet. I don't want a courthouse wedding and money is tight, but I figure that we both ain't going nowhere so why worry about it. It's gonna happen when the time is right. I work for the USPS and it's a story everyday. There's good days and bad days, but anyday is helping us pay these bills. Incase you don't know about me; I'm a musician, woodworker, problem-solver, devoted friend, loyal boyfriend, awesome brother/son, mediator, sports fanatic, outdoorsman, you name it. I want my life to make an impact somehow in this world. We all make a difference, one by one.I love music in every aspect. I dig all types of music. Life is a soundtrack for sure. Because every moment I breath there is a tune playing. My home is in my head. I was raised by my folks to appreciate music. Growing up listening to all the coolest classic rock and Motown and 80s music. I remember being in 6th grade hearing Gangsta Rap for the 1st time and loving every measure of the Chronic. It changed my world as I knew it. It's a hip-hop Mozart masterpiece. I dig all kinds of styles. I have more problems excepting Country music, but there's some good in it too. I can always recognize talent. I play acoustic guitar mainly these days, but I've always had the piano talent. I love to sing, especially soulful stuff. I go to concerts whenever I can. I've seen a lot of chilled out Indie bands like Death Cab, Keane, Mat Kearney, Youth Group, Rocco DeLuca & the Burden, Horse in the Sea, Rue Royale & Floorwalkers. It's been a few years since I rocked out at the heavy shows like the 2000 Summer Sanitarium I went to in St. Louis. I saw Metallica, Kid Rock, Korn, Powerman 5000, Sevendust & System of a Down there. I likey da Moshpeet!I've been delivering mail since October 24th. Ever since my first job when I was 15, I've been taking in all the skills that I can to become as well-rounded as possible. From wood-working to tire-changing to truck driving and maybe even one day firefighting. Day to day is the best way to go. It's not the end of the world if someone doesn't have a job. That does not make a man/woman. It's just about being responsible when you need to be on top of your bills or family situation. I'm still waiting to win that lottery someday. I can't wait to retire early and travel the country and even the world.I've always been a supportive person. When it comes to my friends, I treasure all the memories we've had over the years and am thankful for the friends I still have. As we all know, friends come and go. I will not follow another persons footsteps, but I will walk my own path. I've watched people fall too many times over drugs, bad relationships and poor decisions. That's when you alone can make that decision to either keep walking forward or let someone hold you back. It's hard growing up and turning into an old geiser. I am very happy for meeting my girlfriend, Elisa. She is everything to me. We just drove out to LA this past April and we actually didn't kill eachother. Instead, we bonded even more than before. My twin sisters live out there in Los Angeles. They are the best sisters, even though they terrorized me growing up. I'm glad that they're happy on the West Coast and making something for themsleves. It's awesome in Cali. My parents are still teenagers at heart. Only a few older kats are as hip as them 2. I'm thankful that they've held it together for the past 33 years of marriage.I love sports, especially Chicago sports. It's different in Chicago. I will always root for my home team. I am one of them baseball fans that grew up loving the Cubs & the Yankees. I got love for the White Sox too. I like both my Chicago baseball teams. Get over it. My grandpa was from NY, NY and if you didn't root for the Yanks, you had something else coming to ya. My grandma however was always a die-hard Cubs fan and we all hope that they take the pennant soon for her.
In life, there will always be those hard times. It's important to remember to breath and take a look around. Imagine being halfway across the world in someone elses shoes. The starving kids living by themselves in Africa. The waring countries throughout the world everyday. I mean, it could always be worse. Just know that we will all see are end someday. Make the best of what you got because this is not a test. Life is a gift. All life. Not just white people. Not just Americans. Not just human beings. The entirety of the whole universe and what it may have to offer. We are not here to play God. Whether you got faith in some form or not. One voice can throw the axis of the universe into a different direction. It's up to you how far to take it. I am a one man revolution.
