About Me

Parked about 5 feet from the Eastern rim of the grand canyon, 2000 feet straight down! Wasn't supposed to be down there driving around, but I couldn't resist getting in a picture of my truck with such a beautiful background!
In the following paragraph I may discourage anyone from living in Arizona, but keep in mind that during the fall and winter months, there is an overwhelming supply of old people on the road for me to terrorize and send into a panic with a simple honk of the horn! While they may drive 40 in the fast lane, change lanes for no reason without signaling, and cause me to leave 20 minutes earlier than normal for work, it's all worth it if I get to see just one of them crash through the front a completely innocent building!
I currently live in Phoenix, and yes, it is as hot out here as people say it is. Then the next day...it's even hotter! I just don't understand why hundreds of thousands of people would flock to 120 degree heat and an ugly brown desert landscape, but then again, I'm here so I guess that doesn't say much for me! I'd love to get back to Texas soon mainly to be closer to the family, but work has me out here for the time being so I guess I'll make the best of it! I'm an electrical engineer/field service tech for a semiconductor manufacturer (basically, we manufacture computer chips). The pay is good, I somewhat enjoy my job, but I'm still not sure what I want to do for the rest of my life. Hopefully one day I can realize what I would rather be doing for a career, but for now I'm kind of stuck in a wonderful rut. Still single - can't decide between love or keeping my money. Right now, I'd have to say I'm leaning more towards the money! Not much to tell, my life revolves around work at the moment!
The above slideshow: Well for Christmas this past year, my parents found the most awesome, amazing, wonderful present for me... A chance to drive a stock car! Sure, I'd hinted around time and time again that I would love to do it, but I never imagined it would come as a Christmas gift! So to them, I must say a huge thank you for giving me one of the most thrilling experiences of my life! I chose Phoenix International Raceway to drive at, I was not dissappointed in the least! I turned about 50 laps total, had to have one of my tires changed during the event, and then ran out of gas with about 2 laps to go, so that added a little extra excitement! I can't wait to start hinting around that I'm ready to go do it again! Thanks mom and dad, you're the best!

My Interests

I confess! I'm a NASCAR fan, if you haven't figured that out yet (and yes there is more to NASCAR then just a bunch of cars driving in circles)...but I'll settle for just about any racing. Whether it's a local dirt track on a Friday night, drag racing, IRL, F1, dune buggies in the desert (which I have yet to try, but would love to!), doesn't matter! I enjoy any type of auto racing pretty much, and that's my passion at the moment. If I could do anything in the world for a living, it would be race!

I'd like to meet:

I'm just not the most sociable person these days I guess! It's so hard to meet new people these days being out in the real world and away from the fun at college. I don't really have any particular person I'd like to meet, but I guess I'm willing to meet anybody. If you're a hot chick and delivering a chocolate cake, I'll gladly invite you in.

Music:

Well I keep it pretty simple when it comes to music, mostly Rock and Country with a bit of Rap thrown in from time to time. I'm a channel surfer when it comes to the radio, I just flip till my finger hurts, then listen to whatever is on. I don't even remember the last time I purchased a cd or even downloaded a song. Music to me is just something to break the silence while driving to work.

Movies:

Well I just bought a new huge TV so lately I've watched every movie I can get my hands on! Mostly stick to comedy and action-adventure. Horror movies bring out my evil side. If I had to pick a couple favorites, I'd stick with Office Space or Mallrats (or any Kevin Smith movie) for a good laugh, or anything with De Niro or Pacino when I need some action! I may even rent an animated movie if I can get away with nobody seeing me grab it from the shelf! If I have to see another movie with Tom Cruise in it, I might go postal...

Television:

If you find my TV not on Speed Channel, Fox Sports, ESPN, or a station broadcasting race coverage, it's a rare occurence!

Books:

Books disappeared when I was introduced to the internet. I love the internet. The internet is my best friend.

Heroes:

Other than my parents? My parents are the best in the world! Other heroes...I'll have to think about this one...bake me a chocolate cake and you might be considered a nominee.
