This profile is dedicated to the ressurrection of the rock video. Let's talk a little about this show called Rock Video TV. Rock Video TV is a independent, privately owned rock oriented music video television program created by Mike in the summer of 2000, when he left a prestigious career in radio broadcasting in Las Vegas to triumphantly return to Chicago.
Nearly 5000+ rock videos from the 1970's through today can be found on the Rock Video TV playlist. The show has been airing on Chicago's Comcast cable system serving the south suburbs on Channel 19 every Friday night 10pm to 11pm, but may have to change their time slot to 11pm to 12am due to some minor vulgarities and full frontal nudity.
Rock Video TV allows Mike to keep his broadcasting skills and contacts alive. Rock Video TV also wants to give people opportunities that weren't given to Mike, exposure. We're not talking the kind of exposure Mike does anyways after downing a bunch of Coronas but the kind of exposure to help those start an entertainment career. Example, Michelle, all her predecessing Rock Video TV hosts and every unsigned talent looking to get their big break!
Rock Video TV wants to give everyone and anyone the opportunity to be in the limelight, to try new things, to meet celebrities and just have fun. So far, it's working pretty swell. Does anyone say "swell" anymore these days?
