Charles McCampbell

About Me

Charles McCampbell, Jr. passionately loves The Lord Jesus Christ with all of his heart and is set on serving Him ALL of his days. He is on fire for Christ and LOVES sharing and learning God's word with others! God called Charles to begin playing piano at the tender age of three. Over the years God has expanded Charles' knowledge of music and allowed his playing skills to to excel. He is affluent on keyboards (piano, clavinet, rhodes, minimoog, Hammond B3 organ, etc.) as well as guitar. Charles plays a variety of genres including jazz, Gospel, funk, R&B, hip hop, alternative, rock and classical. Charles knows where his gift came from and knows that without God's grace and mercy, he is nothing and couldn't play a note! Charles says, "That's an understated REALITY". God has blessed him with a number of opportunities including touring and recording with jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove. Charles plays on Roy's RH Factor album entitled "Distractions".
Not only a gifted musician, Charles is also a vocalist. In 1992 Charles won First Chair as a Tenor in the Dallas All-City Choir. With time, his voice range has lowered and he is now an excellent bass singer. He sings bass as a member of the McCampbells. The McCampbell's is a music ministry formed with Charles, his three brothers and sister. The five siblings arrange, compose and produce their own music, and most importantly they all love The Lord. They frequently perform in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and are currently busy producing their first album.
