Millers Cell originated in Chelsea Massachusetts in 1993. First 3 memebers : Kelly, Jim and Chip. We would jam out in the basement of Jims house and rock the neighborhood. WHAT good times. Our first name was THE FRONTLINE. Found out it was actually taken by another band, so we dropped the "THE" and called it Frontline. We had a few friends come down and sing for us and have fun. Soon enough we wanted a jam room , lead guitar and a solid vocalist. We hooked up with Eric Rizzo and built a jam room in his dads small building behind his house. We made 3 rooms. GOOD TIMES.We came across our boy TROY! HUGS TROY! Yeah.. he had that death hardcore metal vibe. So we tried him out and SUCCESS! He was in. Ended up running into a dude that kicked ass on the guitar . His name was Karl. He was real good. BUT HE DISAPEARED one day...just like that. I bumped into him a few months later and I found out why he left. My secret. LOL.
Well we still on the hunt for a lead guitarist ran into a dude we called "Spoon Man" . He hung with us for like 8 months. We didnt really dig him too much. SO Off he went. LEAVING ALL HIS GEAR BEHIND. THANKS DUDE! LOL. Nothing better than free shit.
Then I found Steve, a great old time friend of mine from high school. I asked him to check us out. He did and then he joined the band.We wanted a new namefor our new band. The name Frontline wasnt working for us. THEN ... Jim came out with.. HEY LETS NAME IT AFTER JOEL! Our buddy who was framed and put to jail for 2 years. Joel Miller. Hmmm.. what will it be. MILLERS CELL! DUDE! That rocks. So theres the name. Theres the band. Kelly, Jim, Chip, Troy and Steve.
