Brant has produced and recorded a collection of original music for his debut solo release titled "A New Day". The CD features 11 songs that represent the spirit and inner strength to overcome the challenges we face throughout our life. "I’m guided by the will to carry on", sings Brant, on the opening title track, "A New Day". It describes the self-confidence and determination to persevere and offers the listener a will to survive.

About Brant Pethick
In June 2007, singer, songwriter and recording artist Brant Pethick released an 11 song CD titled “A New Dayâ€. The song “It's Your Fight†was chosen by Fireworks Magazine and Melodicrock.com to be featured on a compilation CD produced in the United Kingdom. “It's Your Fight†was also released on the Indie Music for Life compilation CD in the United States, which was produced to raise funds for cancer research.
Brant's songs “Save Me†(Rock) and “Save A Life†(Best Lyrics) were both finalists for the 2008 100% Music Songwriting Contest.
In 1992, as drummer, vocalist and songwriter for the Ottawa based rock band On The Edge, Brant enjoyed success with the self-titled debut record, On The Edge, which sold over 3,500 copies and crossed four broadcast formats (A/C, MOR, Rock and Country).
Two professional self-produced and self-funded videos received regular airplay on Much Music, Musique Plus, Video Hits and YTV.
“The Beer Drinking Song†was featured in the Canadian movie Harmony Cats, which was nominated for a Genie award as best picture.
“In My Mind†played on regular rotation on Majic 100 FMs Night Majic program for a three-year period. “In Your Touch†reached number 1 on various Ottawa Valley radio station countdowns.
On The Edge extensively toured regions of Ontario, Western Quebec, and Northern New York and performed for the Queen of England and the Prime Minister of Canada. On The Edge also headlined at the Gloucester Fair and was an opening act for Blue Rodeo.
