Turkish man in NE... From Istanbul, THE most beautiful city in the world... I came to Providence (and to US) for grad. school in 98... Loved it, hated it at various times. Now I got used to it, and I’m happy especially now that global warming is kickin’ in and figuring out some important shyte in life... Electrical engineer, physicist, and finally a quantitative analyst for a financial firm… What a career journey huh!? Though if you asked what I wanted to become when I was 15, I’d probably say a guitar player for a rock band, which I’m still hoping to be when I grow up and working on in my leisure :-). Played guitar and drums in various bands thru high school and college… Anything from Iron Maiden to Stevie Ray Vaughan. Also spin on my laptop for house parties (who has the corniest DJ name ever?). Planning on working w/ more sophisticated equipment/methods soon. Gotta hang out with Hoska more often, I guess :-)
I can be easy going, or the biggest prick you’ve ever seen (REALLY! I don't get physical though... I mean probably I wouldn't ;-))… I can be funny or boring… All depending on the mood, situation and people… I’ve been in (or put myself into) a lot of different positions in life, not all of them were fairy tales… But I sure got a lot of lessons... The only trouble is, life is a F**** long course w/ never ending lessons :-) But the plan from now on is taking a lil' more care of the little C. (yeah that one too ;-) )... One of my friends here on Myspace has all figured it out… She says on her profile “It’s not that seriousâ€â€¦ It really isn’t… It shouldn’t be… Yet it is very serious, and that’s exactly why it shouldn’t be taken so seriously… Man, that's some seriously deep shit!
