The band NTP was preceded by NTP the graffiti crew that wrecked everything, including themselves, in the late 80's, & early 90's. Prison, drugs, and passion poisoned members of this crew. Some beyond repair.. The East Side of Santa Cruz will do that to people.Two surviving members and one of their little brothers formed a band called Nothin to Prove. Some members still paint. Others are getting to old to lift their kids, & a spray can in one day. But the spirit of NTP lives on.Through hundreds of younger graff artists influenced by NTP's styles. Or the music The band NTP plays.
