About Me

Allan Locke is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland's School of Music, with a degree in Theory/Composition. Though his principle instrument while attending school was classical guitar, he is proficient at many others, and writes/performs/listens to a wide variety of genres, including and especially rock, pop, folk, traditional, blues, country, classical, and jazz. He is a member of several St. John's-based musical groups: Anthill Victory (Lead Vocals, Back-up Vocals, Bass, Electric Guitar), Vey and Locke-The Diverse Duo (Lead Vocals, Back-up Vocals, Acoustic/Classical Guitars, Bass, Percussion), and Miss Conduct (Bass, Back-up Vocals, Lead Vocals). Anthill Victory has completed their debut album "Hypocrite's Epiphany", featuring the original music of Locke, Kurt Moyst, and Mike Hickey, which is available in its entirety for free at www.anthillvictory.com.
