inherentSCARS are a 5piece Progressive metal-core band that pride themselves on being highly original and bringing a new sound into the very competitive music business. The bands sound is about bringing across emotion! Emotion not only through the vocals but through the instruments played by every member of the band.inherentSCARS was started in 2006 by the resident guitarists Clint and Craig, soon after this Chappy, the bassist, joined... inherentSCARS played a few gigs with the old vocalist and drummer, but they soon moved on... Dyl joined the band as a second vocalist to provide a more emo touch to the music, but became the lead vocalist soon after joining. More recently, Breda has joined inherentSCARS, and playing with him is just awesome! Just a few of the accomplishments inherentSCARS have achieved are - getting onto Witchfest 2007, opening for Fokofpolisiekar at the bek van die baai festival, opening for My Epic and Marching Dead at the second bek van die baai, playing at the MTN rock in the Hanger, and opening for Chromium, Knave, Nemesis Army, Colin Grove, The Rising End, Cold Hand Chemistry, 12th Avenue and A Fix for GraceOur Demo EP was realeased on 13th July 2007 in Port Elizabeth South Africa and on that day we made it onto the front cover on the TGIF in The Herald (Port Elizabeths biggest English newspaper publication).Anyone wanting to book inherentSCARS or contact us in regards of purchasing a Demo EP or any other merchandise can email us at [email protected]
