Culture, Music, helping people, my hubby, movies, my family (sometimes)
My husband again. I miss him so much. It has been 2 and a half years since I have gotten to see him. Hopefully soon, Insh'Allah, he will get his Visa to come here.
I would also like to meet Sisters of Islam to help me learn about this wonderful religion.
I recently started Weight Watchers online. I'm hoping to be healthy again.

I listen to just about anything. I listen to mostly country, but I mix it up with a little R&B, Pop, Arab, Light Rock, Classic Rock, some 80's metal and of course New Kids on the Block. I told you I listen to about anything and everything except for hardcore rap.
Back Draft and Ladder 49. I love the firemen movies.
When I was in Mauritania, there was this little video shop that we rented American movies dubbed into French. They also had cds of American R&B and Pop music videos. We would rent 2 movies and one music cd. On one of the cd's had "Dilemma" sung by Nellie and Kelly Rowland. My husband would change the words from "I love you Nelly" to "I love you Debby". He would sing this over and over again. I think it was one of his favorites. Here it is:
Here is a picture of us in the video shop:
I am trying to read the Quran all the way through. I am half way through it though.
This is a picture of a coke bottle written in Arabic. I took the picture when I was in Morocco.
I have 2 hereos. First my Dad. Yep, you guessed it, I'm a Daddy's girl.
Although, we have had some hard times growing up, my Dad never ran from his responsibilities. I have the up most respect for him. I love you, Daddy. The best Dad around, I'm telling you. My Husband has some tall shoes to fill.
Secondly, my husband is too. He's out there trying in a hard country to live in. He's trying to get a job so we can start our family. He's trying to be patient. Which for an Arab man that is a feat in itself.
