Cristina Sanchez was born in Fuengirola on 31 May 1978 in Malaga, in the South of Spain. She has two brothers, and grew up living with her father. She isn't the only musical person in her family. Anabel Conde is her cousin. Cristie is always happy and sincere, Cristie is experienced in flamenco music and when she sings, she uses her flamenco talent, of which she has lots of. She is a clever girl full of energy.When she was 16, she stopped studying to dedicate herself to music. She had to work in clothes shops, but shortly after she started to sing in bars and pubs in her homeworn of Fuengirola...'Puro Teatro' (Pure Theatre) was the name of her debut CD. It includes many styles of music including flamenco, soul, funky pop and R&B. Puro Theatro is also a song on the album, which includes lines from a poem of the great Cuban author Alfonso Catalino Curet, interpreted previously by the artist LA Lupe Yoli. Cristie has contributed greatly to the music of Spain of nowadays with her innovative sound.In 2007 she will release her second album. "Con La Suerte En Los Tacones" (With the luck in my heals). The single is Marbella. It was recorded in Madrid. The disk has 14 songs, 5 composed by cristie, The genres used are Soul, R&B, Salsa, Funky, and Flamenco (with a ballard too, called 'Nadie' (Nobody)). The video of Marbella has filmed in Marbella (obviously), and it has been hailed due to its R&B Spanish style.
