Hailing from the small town of Bloomington in Central Illinois these five guys are proud of their roots. The name "This is Grandview" is based off a movie filmed in Casey, Alex and Nate's home town called "Grandview USA" All of them have gotten a good number of shows under their belts in previous bands (Independent Union, This Sweet Surrender, The New Royalty, Against the Grain, Dream for Underwood) and they are ready to try something new. These veterans of the local music scene are starting things off rite. People caught on from the beginning and saw that good things were to come. With sponsors such as Black Sea Apparel and Love Everyone Clothing they are getting their name out there. This is Grandview released their debut EP "Everyone is Doing it" on August 22nd and played their first hometown show on September 26th. The TIG guys were surprised to see kids singing along to their music even though this was the first time playing in the area. With a recent change in members, This is Grandivew is already making changes for the better. With an invigorating live show and lyrics you wont forget these five small town boys have a promising future in store for them.
