Before I start you should know that I am going to be very honest with you……and tell u everything u need to know about this lady right here, EVEN lil more,then that ;) !!!! if u don’t want to know all about my history or u r too sensitive…skip the following part ;)
but u would never know this……
I was born November 16, 1988 in IRAN middle of Persian gulf war…….YES u read right…middle of war.. all the Kurdish people were trying to escape from Kurdistan to Turkey, because Saddam Hussein was killing us... my mother was 19 years old when she gave birth to me.. I was born in a little village located near Lake Urmia, only 30 minutes before Saddams army came and bombed the hole village down, many Kurdish people were killed…..luckily we weren’t there anymore.. My mother and father were hiding in mountains for weeks.. My mum carrying me, under her cape and riding a white donkey. We were all trying to escape to the Turkeys border where the UN had refuge camps. When we arrived we were finally safe from war!!! but we were there with Thousands of homeless people.. we didn’t have anything with us!.. not even food.. My father had to sell all my mothers jewelry, ones he had given to her when they got married.. just to get me some food and warm clothes. At first we were living under a big bridge, inside the tent were many people living too. After many months trying to survive and hustle food and money finally we got LUCKY… Finland allowed us to enter with hundreds of people.. That’s how we got to Finland. We were very lucky and very blessed to be still alive.. Many Kurdish people including my relatives were not that lucky...

So I can only thank God I am still alive and healthy… u really need to appreciate your life!! its not easy, it may never maybe be… but u are still here… and that’s a gift, use it right… my parents dream was to have another chance. Live in peace and have a good future for their daughter… my mother and father are my biggest heroes in my life.. They are real survivors.. They didn’t abandon me… like many parents did…I can be really great full for that.. So now that my parents dream did come true… its time to tell who I am…
My real name is Helan, ( witch mean shining star in my language ) I KNOW pretty cool name ;) But all my friends call me Helly. I am a 19-year old SINGER!!!! and DANCER!!!… AND I HAVE A DREAM… It is not only a dream, it is something I was born to do. I have preformed since I was 4 years old and after I turned 7 I went to my first dance class. My teacher said at my first dance session "you look like you really enjoy it" after that I have danced ALL my life and i know the joy will always be there.My childhood was very difficult! I was the only colored person in my primary class.. So I was always getting bullied for not being “ pure white â€â€¦ this all was because we were the First colored people in Finland!!! so I guess they didn’t like us…(not them all tho) I remember how much I hated to not be like the others! I was always alone or fighting against boys….it wasn’t easy to my parents either, they got many threat letters from racist people that said “get out from our country or we will kidnap your kid.†I still have a scar on my fore head.. when a tubby much older boy bushed me to the ground in front of the hole school and hit me with a rock.. After this they put me in another class with everyone from different countries.. and I grew up with them. I learned how to defend and fight back..(and trust me I did get back to that fat boy!!!! LOL) I was always a boy girl! I had really short hair.. and I wanted to be a boy…..and they always try to dress me like a girl!!! I didn’t like being girl, coz girls couldn’t do a shit :D sorry!!! except play with barbies… But there is still something in my childhood that bring me happy tears… I remember how much I loved to sing, dance and act ….I was always performing in a church choir…. either singing dancing or acting.. that’s how everyone knew me.. â€the girl who loves to performâ€â€¦.. and one day in school, my teacher ask me â€Helan what u wanna be when u grow up?†I told her “I want make people happy and smileâ€â€¦and still to this day that is my dream, more stronger then ever.

I’m always in a positive mood and I am very optimistic and I know that if I fall I can always stand up and start again!!!I AM NOT A GOOD LOSER!!. I am very hard headed. Once I’ve set my mind up in doing something I know i can do, I do it and i don't stop until i get it right!! I hate timewasters, and fake people. I know what i want in life and I love what i do whatever that is! I got too much passion for it! so u don’t move out of my way.. ill make u MOVE!!! ;) LOL

I am Finland’s NIKE WOMAN sponsor model, I do a lot of shows and I model for Nike commercials. AND ITS FUUNNNN!!! :) I THINK The best thing about me is my attitude and perspective on life. My ENERGY and positivity is often reflected on others by my presence. BUT I can be really shy sometimes too.. or someone can really make me nervous ;) My only vice is impatience, and that is because I know what I want and what is waiting for me….

So that was my story. I can only say that I am very proud if u read this far ( GOOD JOB BUDDY!!!!! =) It means a lot to me for people to see who I really am… many of them see my pictures and first thing they say… “ oh she is just rich kid “ first of all… not rich at all!! we did start with nothing!! But one thing is true my hart and soul is all gold!!! that makes me rich!! I am a small girl from a very small place.. but with big DREAMS.
One day I was sitting in my room in Finland and I was feeling very sad.. then I said to my self “ Well Helly if u really want it, you’ll go get it, it's NOW OR NEVER†so what did I do, I packed my bags and booked a flight to a place I'd never been and where I dont know anyone!!! Destination LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA!!!!!!! I remember sitting in the plane and it was just about to land. and I looked out the window and I said to me self “WHAT THE F***, HAVE I DONE??†LOL!! I was pretty terrified!!! I didn’t know anybody.. but life is full of surprises, and things have a way of working out. I met wonderful people and the next think I know.. I am living here!!! I started my career here!!! AND I FREEKYN LOVE IT!!! LA is very warm and nice.. people smile more then in Finland and they are more friendly. Sometimes even too much :D but I like it still.. I had learned about life and my self and I feel so strong now, its really not easy to live in a place u don’t have your family or friends.. and everyday u see things that can really shock u…like this one. My first night in LA and I was very tired from travelling 19 hours!! and I just closed my eyes.. and BANG!!!!!! just next to my hotel I heard a gunshot!!! u can only imagine how much I missed my bed (I was thinking didn’t I get enough from guns in IRAN!!! )!!!LOL!!! I miss most my mums FOOD!!! DAMED!! What’s wrong with the food here?!!! I mean I become so fat here!! u can't eat healthy here !!you cant! ( but yessss.. I love LA, and I guess LA loves me ;) so here I am…..
