Orlando Calzada has a Recording Engineer degree from Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts in Orlando, Florida.
It was in Puerto Rico, his birthplace, where he developed as a musician, composer and recording engineer working with different artists, among them: 33DC, Jerry Rivera, Domingo Quiñones, Labranza, Rene Gonzalez, Danny Rivera, Charlie Hernandez, Brian Duncan, Lucesita Benitez and Edwin Cotto.In 1998 Orlando moved to Atlanta, Georgia were he worked with artists such as: Virtue, Bon Jovi, TLC, 3LW, Tina Novak, B2K, Monica, Kat de Luna, Deleon, Rossete, Billy Crawford, RBD rebels and Mya . Because of his talents and dedication as a recording engineer, he was awarded a Grammy Award in 2002 for the song Survivor, from Destinys Child album entitled Survivor.Later on Orlando moved to New York City to work with the renowned Producer Cory Rooney. Alongside Cory Rooney Orlando participated on projects for Jessica Simpson, Christina Milian, Rissi Palmer and ThalÃa.Orlando has worked as Chief of Engineer, Audio Engineer and Audio Production Manager for Spere-Rec./Arista & She-kspere Productions, Mark Cory Rooney, E1212, Play Bach and Crawford Communications, among others.
