About me? Me is open-minded. No matter how strongly I feel about an opinion, feeling or assumption there is always that little voice telling me that I could be completely wrong and know absolutely nothing. “The only thing we know for certain is that nothing is certain.†That pretty much sums up my life philosophy. If you have not earned my respect, things like social/political opinions, significant others, life choices, vanity, and education can make me dislike you. But so far I have had decent judgement.Me is egotistical. I was denied being praised and special in school, I’m damned well getting it now. I’m amazing.Me is a closet fashion whore. ‘Nuff said.Me is happy. I have someone who loves me, someone who cares about me, a good family, a good job, all the freedom in the world, my youth, my health, my wit, my looks, and my desires slowly being met. I love my life.Me loves music. Me loves Classical music with many layers. Me loves Percy Grainger, Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, and Howard Shore. Me loves piano trios, brass quintets, symphonic orchestras, wind orchestras, opera, vocal jazz choirs, full concert choirs, and big bands. Me also likes creepy Electronic, repetitive Techno, and foreign pop.Me loves knowing about music. Music history, theory, and performance. And me loves playing my trumpet.Me loves Tom. A piece of you beats within my heart, a shiny thought of hope. Understanding, challenging, and mine, I love you. Intelligence, wit, beauty, and mine, I love you. And that little added spice of attraction. I love you.Me has mentors who look out for me, and me likes that.Me is childish. Not being immature but being free and without adult understanding or responsibility. Me has to grow up soon and me is not happy about that.Me is lost.
