LURCH

About Me

What can I say, LURCH is no more. After one moderatley acclaimed 7 inch (by underground standards anyway i.e. we're well liked in Germany har har). I never did learn how to tune my alternate tunings to my voice...Terri never did play more than 3 toms and a cymbal. We did experiment with a cow bell, but unfortunately imploded before seeing it to fruition. We were The Rolling Stones that kept on rolling down and out of the circus tent down the street past stabbings and homeless people and crack heads, and abnoxious suburban strip-mall bars transplanted downtown, and strip bars uptown. The End, FINI, Capoot, Dasbedanya. We played one simple Felini-esc show that no one was at exept for random circus freaks blowing fire and juggling butcher knives....this is no lie! Literature professors that tore themselves away from a nagging hardcore porn addiction. Skinheads and Black Panthers were all out representin. Even some of The Baseball Furies. But that's it, that's LURCH's legacy...like the involuntary act of falling forwards as is stated in Websters Dictionary, or stumbling drunk in the slums looking for a convenient cardboard box with a semi-bathed homeless woman to curl up next too, as is written in countless Ike Turner songs only way more poeticaly. This was LURCH, this was us, this was me...in raw brilliant stupidity, black and white technicolor...these are my 20 something years, my soul achievement...aint life a bitch? Well aint it? Thanks and Praise to all the kind words and support we've gotten, all the awesome flattering pleads to reunite and tour again. Keep on rockin in the free world.****************************************************** *******Terri is like one of the girls in the original "Parent Trap" movie, only her twin is dead; she's severely haunted and half her soul feels severed. Chris is like the dim-witted and murderous sicko in Roger Corman's "Bucket of Blood," also trying to pass himself off as an artist. It was only natural for them to start a band. http://www.13shadesofblack.com/Abucketofblood.html
