Robyn Moffett, spiritually known as Aysis7, was born the eleventh of twelve children to the legendary singer and artist Ray Charles Robinson. Since Ray was world renowned, music has always been a part of Robyns life. She determined that being a singer was what she really wanted. Despite her love for music and her desire to sing, Robyn was surprised to learn that her father did not want to support her career. Discouraged by her fathers views, Robyn started attending college in pursuit of a law degree. Bored with the extended work load, and music still burning in her heart, she transferred after one semester to pursue and education and career at Columbia College of Chicago, in vocal performance, music business management, and entertainment marketing. Robyn has worked with several tenured artists such as Otis Clay, R. Kelly, Do or Die, Wata Gotti, Public Announcement, Naki the Beatman, Mannie Fresh, Spinrich Ent., Blaze (Inkredible Music), Navajo (Nupe Beats), and Fred "Uncle Freddie" Jerkins III (Darkchild Gospel), just to name a few. She describes her sound as Urban Soul, with influences of R&B, Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Reggae, and Funk. The album will represent Robyns Re-Induction to not only the music industry, but the world, through the experiences in her life, her unequi"vocal" artistic quality, and her desire to keep alive the legacy of her father. Robyn plans to follow in her fathers footsteps, but expects and demands to be known for her own raw talents, artistry, and accomplishments and not just as Ray Charles' daughter.
