Pittsford Teen Killed in Crash

A teenage girl died in a car crash in Henrietta Wednesday night.
Monroe County sheriff's deputies say a car on Pittsford-Henrietta Townline Rd. pulled into the path of a UPS truck on Lehigh Station Rd. A passenger in the car, Molly Crye, 16, of Pittsford died at the scene.
We wish we could avoid these kinds of tragedies, said Lt. Glenn Maid of the Monroe County Sheriffs Department. We are trying to determine if this vehicle stopped for the stop sign, if they just pulled out, if they did not know where they were going, or any of those types of things.
The female driver of the car went to Strong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The UPS driver was not hurt.
