hate to be a goomba about this, but
when you get to a certain point with you art, you start encountering what some ppl would call the HATERS
these are few and far between but can cause some real trouble if you let them.
usually you deal with them much less than you do all the people who support and respect your art and make the experience worth doing.
anyway, we're on tour right now so it's a little hard to keep up with things-- but a few days ago someone hacked our myspace account and used it to put out a bunch of fake bulletins... we figured it was just one of those things you get from having to use too many public computers when you're on the road... we should have thought more about it than we did... we just changed the pw and moved on... pack up the old volvo and drive down the road
today we received an email from these people claiming that we had stolen their website and books and a bunch of other crap that we don't understand. it seems like they might be getting in touch with other people (this was just confirmed to us by dan, the publisher of our first book) so we felt like we had to put up a warning about the "fake paper rad"... it's so crazy that we have to even warn about this "fake paper rad" but then again we did have the fake extreme animals page...
but we are and always have been and always will be "real" paper rad ("real"-- weird)
anyway that's all
if the ppl responsible for this farce wanna get in touch, go ahead. we know who we are. do you?
