About Me
3333 This will more then likely be the last update I'll ever make to this profile. Our family has suffered get loss this past month. Here's the story...Tinker Bell's cancer came back strong and fast at the beginning of June. I could see that she was slowly becoming uncomfortable but didn't realize how sick she was. I was so tied up in the end of the school year her last couple of days that, when I was able to get to her, she was on the bottom of her cage breathing shallowly and limp as a rag. I took her to my room and had a final snuggle with her. She past away soon after I placed her back in her cage, June 6th, 2008.My poor Tigger was now all alone. First he lost his good pal Dakota (Thanksgiving 2007), now Tinker Bell was gone. He would look for her all over the house, peeking under the bed and in her favorite robe, her preferred sleeping spots. Once he figured out she wasn't in the house, he knew she must have made it out the front door. So, on either an occasion where someone left the door cracked or when he was able to work out enough to prime his little biceps up to pull his butt up over the barrier on the screen door, he escaped out into the front yard. And, about as kindly as I can say it, he ended up finding Tinker Bell. And Dakota. Unfortunately they were not on the other side of the road he was trying to cross. June 19th, 2008 Tigger joined his family at Rainbow Bridge. My last two babies gone in less then two weeks. So in respect to all of them, I will just keep this page as a memorial page. I plan on getting a new herd of Ferts, when the time is right. And they will have their own page that will definitely be linked to this one. But I won't be adding any new friends here or changing anything else past this new entry. Everything past the hearts is original. :)R.I.P. Dokota, Mota, Moty Boy. R.I.P. Dakota, the silver/white male is the thief of the two. He's so in love with Tink, always making sure she's ok and giving her snuggles. We're both 5 years old, Dakota a few months older then Tink. We live in a 3 story condo (with a basement where we hide things!) but have the run of the house most of the day. Our favorite rooms are the laundry room (we hide stuff behind the dryer, too) and mom's room (she has a bed skirt so it's nice and big and dark under there!). Mom got us in March 2006. We're her first ferrets and have quickly become her favorite pet ever. Now we've grown to 3! Our new brother Tigger was adopted at the end of September (06). Not much is known of his background because he was adopted from a rescue shelter. They said he is young, maybe as old as two. He definitely has more energy then both of us! He's a rough wrestler, too! He likes to bite on the head, even if we're asleep. Hopefully mommy can stop that bad habit. We have taught him how to snuggle, though, and mom has let him spend the night in our cage a couple times. It's not like it's over crowded. We own the pad that's ment for parties!
