I'm not just perfect... I'm one in a Million...

About Me

Well, my life began in 2002, when Greg and Steve Justice decided to breed my mom, Rapid Million to the stallion Perfect Vision... but we can skip that part. I was born on March 24, 2003, at Justice Farm. A beautiful bay with a star and irregular white patches on my front ankles. She's not 100% sure (because she didn't see me), but my mom says I have to have been the cutest (bare minimum REALLY close to) the cutest foal ever born.
I went to the racetrack in the spring of 2005, by this point I had a new set of owners... Mike Hunt and Dale Smith of Hunt and Smith Ventures owned me... I went to the barn of Richard Kohnhorst.
These are my listed works according to the Daily Racing Form (as you can tell, they were nothing spectacular, but no one told me that):
September 20, 2005: Breezing 4 Furlongs over a Sloppy Churchill Downs surface in :53.60.
September 29, 2005: Breezing 4 Furlongs over a Fast Hoosier Park surface from the gate in :50.60.
October 6, 2005: Breezing 4 Furlongs over a fast Hoosier Park surface in :52.00.
On Friday, October 14, 2005, I made my racing debut at Hoosier Park going 5 furlongs in the 9th race. I broke from post position #8, and finished in a dead heat for 2nd place for a $7,500 tag.
I returned to the races on Thursday, November 3, 2005. To me it seemed like a freaky nightmare, because I was again running at Hoosier Park, again going 5 furlongs, again in for a $7,500 tag. I also broke from the #8 hole again and again ran second.
After the race, I returned to Churchill Downs. Ashley got a phone call the following Monday telling her to give me an Adequan even though I'd "probably be finding a new home soon..." little did Ashley know that the new home would be with her.
On Tuesday, I was looked at by a bloodstock agent who was wanting to buy me as a racing prospect, I had a little bit of puffiness in the knee so xrays were ordered. My sale was rejected and it was discovered I had a *tiny* chip in my left knee. That was it, that was my one way ticket away from the racetrack...
Ashley was sitting in the equine lab at school when she got the phone call saying that I was looking for a home and was she interested... and she pondered and pondered, and finally she decided yes, she wanted me.
After Becky got out of class that day, Ashley took her to Churchill to meet me... it was decided they would pick me up on Thursday afternoon.
The rest is history... because I am PERFECT.
