Hey there, I'm only on MySpace because some of my friends are here. I'm not looking to have hundreds of friends on here. I wouldn't mind meeting people with similar tastes and interests.
My occupation is music retail and I have worked for several different record stores. I was district manager of all the corporate CD Warehouse stores in Houston for several years until they were all closed in 2003. The stores in Houston were doing well but unfortunately the company as a whole was not. The bad news is the company went bankrupt and the Houston stores were liquidated to pay off debts. The good news is the company emerged from bankruptcy under new ownership and I opened my own CD Warehouse franchisee store in August 2003 on Jones Rd. I hope to open another store in the Montrose in the near future.
I love music and have been in a few bands. I play bass guitar and hope to play in a band again someday if I can find the time. I also love art, old architecture and antiques. I like to go shopping at thrift stores, book stores and yes, record stores(unfortunately there are very few left). I like to go out to eat with my friends. My favorite restaurant is Spaghetti Warehouse(good food, cool antiques, and it's supposed to be haunted!), Chuy's is yummy too. I like to go see movies and I like to hang out with my friends at some of the local bars. I love the Renaissance Festival, but getting any of my friends to go is like pulling teeth, so if you like going PLEASE ADD ME! I'm always up for good conversation with people who have interesting things to talk about. I'm very opinionated but I try not to force my opinions on anyone. I'm interested in spirituality and believe we all have eternal souls. I like spooky things and I love Halloween! I believe in being compassionate to humans and animals.
Things I don't like: war, hip-hop, Clear Channel, presidents named Bush, drugs, sushi, corporate culture, cruelty to animals, eggplant, Fox news, Wal-Mart(sometimes I have to shop there, so I don't want to be a total hypocrite, but really, they are EVIL).
I'm far from perfect and I recognize that none of us are. Hofefully being on MySpace will allow me to meet some cool people I wouldn't have met otherwise.MySpace
