Universal Balance Productions is the premier event production and sound provider in the North West. We are based out of Humboldt county and pride ourselves the reputation we have built based on our philosophy of providing the highest level of service, expertise, equipment and overall quality of work. UBP was founded in 2003 when owner Sam Safier moved back to the North Coast of California and started contracting his services as a recording engieneer, sound engineer, and music producer. Since then UBP has grown into a multi faceted production company speacalizing in Live Sound, Event Production, and Recording Services
The MATEEL SOUND COMPANY was founded by Jimmy Dangler, a wizard of sound and production, who suffered a stroke some time ago. In his absence, a protage of his, Sam Safier helped run his business. Safier continues to run MSC, and still uses Jimmy's efficient system and crew. We have the utmost respect for Jimmy and continually pray for him. Universal Balance Productions/ and Mateel Sound Company provides Sound Systems, Technical Support, Highly trained- experienced- and competent engineers and stage crew UBP/MSC can provide assistance and services in all aspects of Studio music production, consultation and installation. The business is operated out of both Southern and Northern Humboldt county (CA) but engineers and crew are willing and able to travel/ tour. One of the newest additions to the business is our record label Universal Balance Entertainment LLC, started very recently by Ishi Dube and Sam Safier. Dube's debut album, MASSAGANA, "Thanks and Praise" was released the same day as JAH SUN's debut, The Height Of Light and there will be many more to come.
