Eulogy is a hard rock band from New York City dedicated to their intense live show and making the best music they can. Consisting of members Ted Agelis, 21, (lead guitar, backup vocals), Andy Illiano, 17, (drums), Steve Schwartz, 22, (lead vocals, guitar), and are currently looking for a new bass player, they’ve been playing since 2003 and are signed to Type A records/Red/Sony
Eulogy’s music has lured in fans of straight ahead hard rock, but who crave something a bit harder and darker. Check out the push/pull of “The Shit I Used to Adoreâ€, whose heavy bass dominated verse riff dangles over you head before throwing you into a fast chorus full of aggressive vocals and heavy harmonic guitar squeals.
Their fearless approach to rock music gives them permission to throw something unexpected in the mix to surprise the listener. Listen to the melancholy piano in “Rise Aboveâ€, adding a dark pinch that top’s the songs message off perfectly.
Eulogy’s planning to tour this year and to release their album in late 2007.
