About Me

I am always thinking of something to create, or looking at something in a different way. I keep 3 sketchbooks at a time for different ideas. I love words and sometimes I read the dictionary. I like to people watch, to see what different shapes and types of people I see to refelct in drawings, sculpture, or something..... I love broken pieces of glass, rocks and crystals, my two dogs..Otis and Gypsy, Tarot Cards, nesting dolls, and trees.I love to be outside in the Fall, but all the seasons are lovely for one reason or another. I really like to see films and I cook, but am not very good yet. I like Illustrtion (Dave McKean,Edward Gorey and Brian Froud are some of my favorite) and typography–I just like letters, their shapes and spaces... Theatre Posters and Book Covers are Pieces I like to design. I really think being humble allows you learn and I like the quote by Oscar Wilde..."If everyone agrees with me then I am concerned I may be wrong." Thoughts are subjective...I said that.....
