I am here for Friends

About Me

I live in New York with my partner Bill. My main interest is theater and I love going to Broadway and off-Broadway shows and enjoying all the things New York City gives us.I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and made my first trip to New York in 1963 and that was the beginning of my New York City love affair.
Bill is a playwright/lyricist who was nominated for two Tony Awards in 1998 for his musical SIDE SHOW which had a short but intense run on Broadway and is now done in cities around the country and around the world.Bill and I are about to celebrate out 30th anniversary in July and we are making it ver special this year.
Going to the theater is one of the greatest pleasures in my life and watching Bill create a musical tops that.
Other than that, I work in a law firm and that's my daily grind.
Me and Bill - October 2005
Then and Now:
My eldest sister is moving out of her home and found a lot of old photos I never had. Here's some memories:
My father and me circa 1960. An old poloroid shot that's rather faded.
My father and me - 1981.
1973 - with my nephew Guy and my niece Jeanel. WOW, what's with the giant bow tie and plaid pants? What was going on in 1973? My nephew and niece each have 2 children now making me a great-uncle 4 times.
And finally, here's my "Make-Up Artist Photo." Starting in the mid-70's I was a consultant with Prince Matchabelli cosmetics and travelled around doing consulting and also eye make-up demonstrations for Aziza Eye Make-up. So they would put this up in the store to announce me appearances.
Now back to your regular programming.
The reunion of the Siamese Twins! My partner Bill, lyricis..okwriter of SIDE SHOW, with the original Broadway Siamese Twins Alice Ripley (left) and Emily Skinner (right) after their reunion concert at Town Hall October 21, 2006.
Bill and me at "Penis Rock" in Honolulu, Hawaii. Found this doing a short hike. Why am I always hiking? To find rocks shaped likes penises???
On a short mountain hike with Bill in California. My least favorite vacation sport.
Beach walking in Santa Barbara... a better vacation sport. But I still prefer laying on the beach. And I prefer to do my cardio at a gym.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Antonin Scalia to slap him in the face. Johnny Depp just because he's brilliant, even though he'd be smoking constantly while we chatted. Rufus Wainwright because he's brilliant too.
Reality people I'd like to bump into on the street: Bobby Jon and Stephanie from "Survivor," Reichen from "Amazing Race," Ryan from "So You Think You Can Dance Season 1," Kaysar from "Big Brother."
And Nick Lachey, just to tell him I'm on his side.
