Ken Martin's mother Elmina says Ken has been singing since he was 2 & a half years old, "He was always listening to the radio in the early 60's & 70's" taking in the sounds of Motown-TSOP-Studio One-Treasure Isle & the Brit Pop invasion. Ken started his main singing career at the age of 19 in the early 80's on North Londons finest sound system "Unity Hi-Fi" singing on the 7" versions of popular studio one tunes .Ken became an instant hit & was encouraged by many other local artist such as "Jack Reuben,Papa Charjan & Demon Rockers" to keep pushing himself.
