"Faint Signs Of Intelligence".....the phrase seemed as though it was part cliche, part ripe for the picking, as I was leafing through some old kids' books about space travel. Phil Williams and I had started recording some songs I wrote on the road to stave off the boredom of that life....mainly rather silly songs, but as we went on, we decided in the absence of any record company interference, that we could put whatever we liked on this album. We figured that if we liked it, then someone else must too.
The other contender for the album title was "The Call Of The Wild", featuring a nice picture of cooked sausage on a window ledge.....kind of looking wistfully out at the countryside it once inhabited in its previous incarnation.....but we didn't do that....yet anyway.

As much as it is gratifying to sell the odd copy, it is really important to Phil and I that we get some feedback from you people out there.
