About Me

Hi, my name's Wayne and I'm a solo singer/songwriter/guitarist based in Devon.I've put my music up for people to hear in the hope that 1: They'll like it, and 2: That I might get some constructive feedback about it.I've recently changed my account settings to not accept friend requests from bands. This is because the majority are just trying to gain friends to look popular. If you're a band and want me as a friend, that's great but please send me a message first, this way I know you've actually taken the time to listen to at least one of my tracks. To me it's all about giving other musicians support on here so give support! Cheers and thanks for stopping by.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Although these days I mainly go out on my own, over the last five years or so there have been different incarnations of the band. On these tracks are: Dan Wassall on Drums, Phil Horton On Bass and me on everything else. On Perfect though is the same line up but with Pat Dorgan. On the video's are, Rob Yeo on bass, Gary Mitchell on lead guitar, Ken Kerslake on drums, and me on acoustic guitar and vocals.Phil is also playing bass and lead guitar on "Night of our lives". It started as an acoustic track which I emailed to him in America (he now lives there) and he overdubbed the other instruments there. I should add that he actually doesn't like what he did on this track, but I love it that's why it's still here!As for the recording of the acoustic tracks on here, the credit goes again to Mr Rob Yeo and his tasty little lap-top. Don't you just hate people who are good at everything...
Influences: Bryan Adams, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Thunder, Queen, Manic Street Preachers and plenty more. I consider an influence, someone I'd play air guitar to as a kid, wishing I was them up on stage, not just someone I'm into at the moment.
Sounds Like: Wayne Green (strange that...) Any comparisons welcome.
