Online Status IconsMan Weekend © is a collective created by a group of lads united by a core of ideals, beliefs and passions – massive football fans, enjoy getting utterly shit faced, love sexy ladies, extremely bored of this working for a living nonsense and all with impeccable grammar! We began, as many an organisation, as “small fry†(Mr Tesco used to be one guy down the market with a wheel barrow, manly!) just a few mates having barbecues in the hazy summer months of….Buckinghamshire. It soon became apparent that this idea was bringing together many men from as far a reach as West London (!), all able to interact with ease due to these core principles. The beauty being that no topic at Man Weekend is taboo, everything is up for debate - Women are gorgeous, sure, but how buff does David Beckham look with his tattoos?! Hence, it is quite natural to develop a ‘Man Crush’ on a guy who is an artisan of his trade and has obviously accumulated many a point on his Boot’s Advantage Card!I digress, as I was saying, us Manweekenders are about getting together away from the unapproving glances of those women who think we’re acting stupid and immature to gain their attention, au contraire, I assure you that our own amusement is the key to our drunken exploits, the words “Go on, it’ll be funny….†coming back to haunt each and every one of us at some stage! Allow me to present you with a dilemma, you’re hung over and you need a poo (we’ve all been there) when an uncontrollable wave of nausea washes over you, what do you do? I’ll tell you, you stick your head right down that pan and chunder on top of your corn filled crap, theres a water shortage you know and saving the environment is manly!Opportunities for international travel have also become viable, the most recent Man Weekend took place in Man-drid (that’s Madrid, see what we’ve done there?!) to see the ‘Galacticos’ of Real Madrid and then drink until we forget where the hotel is! Our next excursion will be to Man-sterdam (trust me, we won’t get bored of this!) so look out for our updates and any tributes to ‘fallen friends’ that may occur...UPDATE....Cork 07...watch out oirland!!
