Music is my thing, it's a major part of who i am. I love listning to it, playing it especially live, it's one of the greatest rushes i've had, from the first time i walked on stage and i was freakin out till i walked off with the ultimate high, it lasted for weeks i've been hooked ever since. Some of the best times in my life have been with my various bands.
I work as a sound guy, I started mixing about the same time i started playing. It's a fukin cool job, it's taken me half way round Aust and New Zealand. Even though sometimes i get sick of it but then i look around at where i am, out in the middle of a crowd going off having a great time, or back stage watching the band. And i think where else would i rather be, in a factory (I've done that, i'm not doing it again)Fuck i get payed to do this. The Only place better is on stage. Which once i get back from the States in August I'll be starting a new project so i can get back up there.
The Brewery is where i can usually be found on weekends (unless i'm away) as i'm the in house mixer there so feel free to come in and say hi.
I also hang out at the Cambo as well
Another thing i'm always working on, as my freinds continuously tell me, is my 1976 BEDFORD van, it's one of my projects, i'm slowly doing it up. It's an old school beast. I'm fixing it up from the inside out, the body will be last so it will look a bit rough till then. Finding parts or making them is always the hardest thing but it's worth it, cause when it's finished it will be something original and it will stand out.
If any one out there is in to bedfords and whats to share info get in contact, i'm alway willing to share some tips.
My other toy is my Harley great for cruzing on, it's had a bit of work done to it but nothing major. Ohh yeah i don't need any lectures on how the jap sports bikes are better. I used to own one and it was awsome too untill a semi ran over it. I like bikes, all bikes!!!
The one really fucked up thing that has happened to me was a Motor bike accident that i had a few years ago. Which fucked me up for quite awhile. But it did teach me what was important in my life. The only things that mattered to me, was my family, my friends, my girl at the time, and my band. Nothing else matters! Cause with out them it's all meaningless.
