Well hello there.
I'm Heather. I recently moved to Portland from San Diego. I love it here, but I have to say I miss the sun and all of my friends... especially my girls, the originals of the nice face club. :)
I don't really have very many friends here. And I love meeting new people. So if you like adventures,hiking, wandering aimlessly through the city, poking smot or drinking, you should send me a message.
In my perfect stream of conscious world...
I walk vast distances across uncharted land.
Shovels always have long handles.
Exploring...anything.
Swimming across seas, crystal clear and 84 degrees.
Finding bad ass artifacts.
Long spring days, sipping good rum or whiskey.
Speed limit is 75 everywhere.
Bluegrass keeps me smiling while biking down that old counrty road.
The wind is behind me.
People aren't fake.
Every night has a beautiful sunset and sand squishes between my toes.
Healing is massage, chocolate, laughter and ancient ceremonies.
Love is always in the air and my heart rarely skips a beat.
The sound of planes is above and I inhale the smell of freshly cut grass.
Friends show up and leave as they please with brownies and chocolate milk; Yoo-hoo.
Paint is always peeling, vines overtaking.
Awaited questions.
Money doesn't exist. Instead we trade stories.
Emotions are recorded in snapshots, with attention to composition.
Cranes loom nearby and crickets chirp.
Someone is always there for you.
People know they are beautiful.
You never forget pain but don't think about it.
Movies leave you with a grin. Smiles are hard to supress.
Rain on a tent roof. Boots don't have to be broken in.
I listen to silence until it becomes loud.
You don't notice that you are aging.
Tommorow is never ending,
inspiration is just around the corner,
and all of this never gets old.
Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers.
The round heads in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them.
But the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
