About Me
Starting out as a dancer at the ripe age of three, Andrea Reece would soon learn that the stage would become her stomping ground. Growing up an inquisitive young woman from upstate New York, Andrea knew that there was a huge world just awaiting her arrival. At the age of 15, she was granted a scholarship to the prestigious Hochstein Music School, where she would begin vocal lessons to hone her craft. Shortly after, she was accepted into the Geva theatre Conservatory in Rochester, NY, a place for young actors to train with some of the industry's greats. It was at this point her career as a performer would begin to take its shape.
Her calling to the stage led her all the way to NYC, where she would later receive her Bachelors Degree in Musical theatre from Wagner College. While at Wagner, Andrea was able to intake extensive training from all aspects of the entertainment world. She studied not only Music and Acting, but also Directing, Stage Combat, Dance, and even Mime. She also was given the opportunity to work one-on-one with greats such as Richard Adler (world renown writer of musicals such as The Pajama Game, Damn Yankees, and Many more) and Anne Reinking (Famous Broadway actress, best known for her roles in the movie Annie and for originating the role of Roxy in the musical Chicago). This training not only aided her in becoming the Triple Threat that she is today, but it also prepared Andrea for what was to come in her professional life.
After college, Andrea landed her first audition and was given the job as a singer for Anheuser Busch/ Busch Entertainment Corp. She also went on to perform as a lead singer for Royal Caribbean Cruise lines. Andrea has also worked professionally as a model for Bacardi, Martini and Rossi, Tampa Modeling, and Cry Baby Maternity. Currently, while residing in the state of Florida, she is rigorously in the studio recording tracks for Big Adept (notorious rapper in NYC), Mark Scott (of American Idol fame, also her husband), and Mindbend Master Studios.
Andrea continues to look forward to all that life has to offer. Most recently, she had a beautiful baby boy, Aiden Scott, who keeps her schedule as busy as ever!!
