2002: For job reasons Cologne-based Timo (who also plays guitar in Bastard Nation) moved to southern Germany. Possessed by metal, he had to find like-minded maniacs immediately. ..m/
After extensive search on the internet he contacted Dirk who had placed some ads in music portals. Few days later they drank some beers and the two guitarists started to write songs for their new band.
By the end of the year, the both had convinced Dirks’ old band mate Oliver to join the band as bass player.
2003: In February, the band found Axel Görg as suitable drummer and after one rehearsal at Dirks’ home he joined the band. In October, the band found a rehearsal room and made it their musical ‘home’ for one year.
2004: After a long fruitless search for a vocalist Timo decided to take over the microphone. So now there was a need for a new guitarist. Timo invited his colleague Jan to a band rehearsal and he joined a week later.
Late summer, Eternal Black relocated into a new (and much drier) rehearsal room.
August 2005: All band members join Bastard Nation and Eternal Black is history ;-)
