The Gravestones are an awkward blend of many different types of metal, formed in Dallas, TX in February 2006. Although contradicting many aspects of each sub-genre of heavy metal music, one of the band's main goals is to destroy the limitations that so many people have and still do place on heavy music today. There are no rules to heavy music; it is a passion, not a competition. A passion that dies along with each new trend that is shoved down our throats. Don't fall into the traps that they have placed right in front of us; stay true to your self and stay true to the music.
