I am here for Friends

About Me

Without the Lord,we would be nothing. Too often,we forget to praise Him when life is good yet we are quick to blame Him when life is going badly. He is our Creator. He created us to make our own decisions & gave us the tools to make good ones. Praise Him,Live for Him! An unknown source said "Pretend you're God for a moment...Imagine that you create characters in your mind, and these characters, that exist only in your mind, decide that they are independent beings who have nothing to do with you. That’s us!" The Lord has blessed me tremendously and I am eternally grateful for His love, salvation, and the blessings He bestows upon us everyday!
**You never realize how hard it is to be a parent until you are one. ** I didn't grow up in a good neighborhood. I wasn't born into a family with any kind of money.(That's the understatement of the year right Mama? Lol) But I was blessed with the best parents in the world. Many year went by that I had taken them forgranted but I am more grateful for them today than they could ever know.~~ My mother-My best friend since childhood.. She is beautiful inside and out. She is self-less,caring and nurturing. The most wonderful woman I have ever met. She has always been there for me whether I was right or wrong. She has never passed judgment on me or any one else. I truly pray that I turn out to be a great inspiration in my kid's life as she has been in mine and countless others. ~~ My father- Daddy's girl since birth... A truly amazing man. The rock of our family. He gives to every one without ever expecting anything in return. He has always pushed me to greatness & taught me the value of hard work. "What's the first thing I ever taight you, girl? Pay Attention!" I've heard that at least every week since I was old enough to listen. Even now, when his health isn't what it used to,he still rises with the sun and works till dark.~~ My Parents-2 of the most caring,compassionate,self-less people you could know.~~
♥ It has been a roller coaster ride. No one ever thought me & Matt would last, not even us. But here we are 7 years and 2 kids later. We're dysfuntional at times but on our worst days,we still love each other more than most people do on their good days. Unfortunately,we still have to deal with drama. You would think that after all these years, people would have given up on trying to break us,but they haven't. We're still here, together, && neither one of us is going anywhere. ♥
♥ Alexis Marie && Matthew O'Neal Jr. ♥
*~* We have the most beautiful children in the world! I know, every one says that & every one is right. When you look at your kids, you feel love like you have never felt before. Having children is(well it should be) a life altering thing. Your world is not about you anymore. Raising kids is the hardest yet the most rewarding thing a person can ever do. There is no excuse not to raise your children right. There is nothing more important in the world than your kids. Not boyfriends,husbands,friends,work,school- Your children should be your top priority from the time they are conceived until the day you die. *~*
♥ Alexis Marie ♥ Alexis was the biggest surprise of my life. I got pregnant when I was only 15 so you could imagine my fear. The day she was born, though, I looked at her and knew God had hand delivered her to me & Matt. She was perfect. Like an angel sent from Heaven to change our lives. And she was. I hate when people use their young age to excuse them for bad parenting. I was only 16 and I have been the best mother a person could be. She is 5 years old & started kindergarten this year! She is the smartest 5 year old I have ever talked to & I don't say that because she is my daughter. I have people tell me all the time how intelligent she is. She has always been naturally smart & with plenty of help and encouragemnt from all of us, she has excelled beyond most children. She hasn't brought home any school grades yet so we will see if she continues to excel as she has. She is articulate and intuitive & so much wiser than her 5 years. She is my best friend. She has a beautiful soul. She is smart, caring, and loving. She is the best big sister any one could ask for. She cares for Matthew as if he was her son. She brings tears to my eyes when she tells me that she is going to be just like me when she grows up. She brings me laughter when she beats her daddy up. She has changed him in so many ways. She is his heart. They would be lost without each other. I thank God every day for sending me such an amazing daughter.
♥ Matthew O'Neal Jr. ♥ Matthew was the completion to our family. The son Matt always wanted. He's a year old now. He is so amazing to us all. He is running around and messing with everything! He is absolutely infatuated with his Sissy. There is nothing in the world more enjoyable than watching them play together. He already loves to beat his Daddy up. He can push his Sissy over & still doesn't understand why his Daddy doesn't budge as easily. Him & his Sissy gang up on him all the time. He wakes us up every morning. He hollers 'Da-da' then 'Mama' till someone wakes up. He calls his Sissy 'Bubba' for some unexplainable reason but she answers. He is so smart already. He talks so much & he is such a happy baby. His Daddy can't wait until he's old enough for football and baseball and the other father/son activities they can embark on. I can't even begin to describe how happy I am to have the final piece on my perfect little family. God has given me two beautiful, smart, healthy children.
♥♥ I could not ask for more in life. My children are my world. Nothing is ever or will ever be more important. They make my world go around. Sometimes me & Matt sit there and stare at them and wonder what we did to be worthy of such beautiful blessings. They were both Heaven sent. As we watch them grow together,we remember to be grateful to the One responsible. ♥♥
Cardio-Thoracic Surgery - It's where my heart is. Get it,haha? Moving on... I have always wanted to do something medical. When I was little,I wanted to be a Marine Biologist. I wanted to operate on sea animals. When I became pregnant with Alexis,I turned my focus to humans. I thought about nursing but I knew being a nurse wouldn't satisfy my desire to save a life. A few years ago,it came to me. What could be more satisfying than fixing a human heart? The heart - the essential core of our being. I won't go into this again, you can read it over there in my general interests. It's obvious that surgery is something I am interested in but I can't lie and say that I don't get excited by the idea of what this career will do for me financially. I'll be able to give Alexis & Matthew anything they want, I'll be able to take care of my parents the way they have always taken care of me. It's hard to get there & even harder once you're there but I'm determined.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The Lord when it is my time. I hope I won't see Him soon but when He calls, I'm coming.
I would love to see my beautiful best friend Amanda again. I know she is smiling up there from Heaven and I know she feels no sadness or pain, but it sure is lonely here without her.
I would love to meet Lil Wayne. When he opens his mouth, his words don't go through my ears. They hit my mind,my soul. I can't describe the effect that he has had on the world of music.
Angelina Jolie. She is such a beautiful person outside and in. I have loved her since Foxfire and she never ceases to amaze me with her greatness.
Dane Cook is the funniest man on Earth. Hands down. I will never forget the first time I saw him on HBO. I have never laughed so hard in my life. If me or Matt are having a bad day, we put in 'A Viscious Cycle' and just crack up all day.
Shonda Rhimes is such an amazing writer. Grey's Anatomy is my all time favorite show. The plots and story lines that she puts together has created 5 awesome, successful seasons.
Denzel Washington is, without a doubt, the best actor ever. He has not made one movie that I have not loved. I have seen 'Man on Fire' 100 times and his performance still gives me chills.
You might be surprised by this one. Hugh Hefner is not only the original pimp of America, he changed the face of entertainment. Not only did he make it okay for women to love and embrace their bodies without shame, he also played a huge part in fighting racism. He was the first man to publish a black woman in a magazine as well as the first man to feature a black man on a television show. He is a living legend. I would also want to meet Holley,Kendra and Bridget just to see how they act in real life.
Dana White,President of UFC. Man, I would love to shake his hand and tell him thank you for managing the best sport in America. He is such a hard ass and he is always funny. He's awesome.
