I grew up in Southeast Michigan (Monroe) and went to Michigan State University. I graduated with my BS in Crop and Soil Sciences with a Turfgrass Management specialization, and moved to the Atlanta area when I graduated. I am currently the Senior Assistant Golf Course Superintendent for a private golf club in the north Atlanta area. Basically that means I run all the day to day golf course operations, and don't get stuck in an office. I am lucky to have a great course to be able to work with, trying to make it better and better each day. I play golf in the afternoons when I get done working, and get to travel around playing some of the top clubs in the country. How long will I stay in Atlanta? Time will only tell. I'll go where the road I am on leads me.
I travel all over Georgia, and the country shooting in archery tournaments, including NFAA, NAA, and the ASA Tour, and of course the ever competitive "Barn Shoot Smackdowns". I also help run the largest archery site on the web, ArcheryTalk.com which has almost 85,000 members. I get to do what I love to do thanks to my sponsors, mainly Bowtech Archery.
