Hello Boys and Girls. My name is Thumper. Don't ask how I got the name; because once you hear the answer, it can never be unheard. I’m 41 years young. 5’5” short. Somewhere between 1 and 200 lbs. Brown Hair. Hazel Eyes. I’m twice divorced. I have 5 children (hers, mine and ours… and no I can’t remember which, they all have my heart) Plus, several more in the surrounding counties have unofficially adopted me, and call me “Dad”. As a rule, people either love me or hate me (there is no in between) and will know which in a very short time. I don’t do Chat Rooms, or the bar scene. I prefer to interact with the people in my life on a personal, face to face basis, therefore: phone calls, IMs, SMSs, eMails, etc… from me tend to be short and to the point. Even though I have a mostly positive outlook on life, there are things that irritate me to no end. That (along with persuasion from several friends) is why I decided to start this MySpace project. From time to time I'll be writing about the things that piss me off. Now I’m not necessarily talking about a ranting rage. Sometimes its just things that make me sigh and look away… Sometimes I see/hear things and think what-the-hell-are-these-idiots-thinking. Sometimes I just look at things from a different point of view than most folks.Now don’t get me wrong, I respect and defend anyone’s right to choice (as long as nobody gets hurt) even when I don’t agree with it. That’s the beauty of living in a jigsaw world. You can turn it upside down, shake it up, and put it back together any way you see fit.The things that I hold most dear are: Courtesy, Respect, and Brutal Honesty. I offer these to absolutely everyone that I meet until it proves pointless. Rudeness, disrespect, and/or dishonesty will be returned in kind (if only to educate the offender).The absolute most treasured thing in my life is "My Girls". "My Girls" is an all-encompassing term that includes: daughters, sisters, mother, aunts, grandmother, cousins, nieces, friends, and all female cohorts of those listed above. Purposely causing "My Girls" harm is a life-altering decision, consider it very carefully.What you read on the following pages is my personal outlook on life, and all the people and situations that I encounter along the journey.
