With over 40 years of combined musical experience, RMH was formed in Spring 2006. With a style that is hard to define, they've built a following of all ages drawn to the intense and unique sound created by the collaboration of each member's passion. Erik, former founding member of 38th Parallel "Since my first guitar influence of Vernon Reid (Living Colour), I've enjoyed playing guitar for years. I've worked with a lot of musicians, after forming a band that got on with Warner Brothers, I feel this is my best work and am very proud to be in RMH." Brett: "Hey don't worry about the details, just ready to play. This is the best collaboration of musicians that I have played with, and we don't worry about styles, trends, fads, whatever. We do what we do and we run the gauntlet till the end, no matter what. We still have fun." Joshua, former front man and founder of Scalpel: "I've been playing all kinds of instruments all of my life, although I'm not especially proficient in any particular one. My lyrics, although sometimes esoteric, are very metaphoric and pleasantly nostalgicly abstract. Enjoy. I'm extremely optimistic about this band. My influences are Robert Smith, Neil Fallon, Chino Moreno, David Bowie, David Yow, Marylin Manson, and many other great musical poets. JC, formerly of Ashja, considers himself to be a bassist influenced by many styles, but in love with them all. Drawing from artists that include P-Nut (311), Les Claypool, James "The Hook" Jameson (The Funk Brothers), Fred Missouri (Facecage), and many, many other great musicians, his sound has been shaped since childhood. JC comments simply, "Love and bass."
