Ambush was born and raised in the heart of Bed Sty, Brooklyn. He is the oldest of four children with a family consisting of one brother and two sisters, he didn’t always have the material things that he wanted. His need for money took him to the streets, where he began to earn his own money and was able to help provide for his family. After realizing that there was no future in the streets, Ambush started working a legit job. Although working a nine to five, there wasn’t enough money to make ends meet. So working and hustling became an everyday task. The streets were hard and a test of survival. Although he had the skills of street survival, he needed something more valuable. With the talent Ambush had, he pursued a career as a musician. ?s Ambush got older, his love for fame grew. It was hard trying to hold down a job, pay bills and chase after his dreams. This is when he decided he had to make a change, and pursue his dream full time. Everyday he had to find the strength to continue because of his love and dedication for music. Ambush’s talent allowed gave him the opportunity to be an artist on Skrilla Records Inc. Signing with Skrilla Records Inc. was the break that Ambush was looking for. Now he can be the artist he is destined to be. The combination of his talent and his ambition will give him the strength he needs to be successful in the music industry.%D%A?mbush just completed his first album, “Tha Victim” and believes that his music will bring a new look to Hip Hop. The first single off the album is also called “Tha Victim” and it focuses on the issues of child support. Ambush says “his music is not conscious rap, but reality rap”. Ambush’s album touches on topics that no one else has explored, while maintaining the same style that everyone is used to hearing. %D%AThis album gives us songs to dance to, make love to, songs to make you think and songs you can relax to.
