I'm a Producer / Songwriter/ Artist.
I have worked extensively in the music industry for a while now. I have done music for companies like FOX Television, VH1, Telemundo, Univision, GM, Cheverolet, etc, etc. Some of the Artists and Labels I have worked with are: Mariah Carey (Monarch), Elvis Crespo (SONY), Huey Dunbar (SONY), Azul Azul (SONY), Las Ketchup (SONY), Locos Por Juana (MP), Fey (SONY), MDO (SONY), OG Black & Master Joe (OLE), Los Niños (EMI), Victor Manuelle (SONY), Tito Nieves (WARNER), The Burrito Savanero (POWER 96 REMIX).
While 99% of these artists have absolutely no bearing on my own musical influences, I am happy to announce that "some of these" double-cheese stuffed projects were done for monetary reasons only. Unfortunately, due to the success of my works with "some of these" extremely dairy artists, The Big Cheese himself offered me a "Major Label Contract". He along with his staff, gave me an ingenious list of Piña Colada / Rum & Coke induced cover songs which were to be re-mixed with a "Caribbean-Streety-Yo-My-Nigga-Dog" feel. These were to be the musical masterpieces of the album. So, I wrestled with integrity and I compromised (or should I say I sold out.) Ok, so sue me! I did it for the Green $ Team (there were a lot of 00,000.00's on the check), and thus began the Carnival Cruse Line Themed Album and my Jerk Chicken, 22inch Rimed artist transformation. "Yeah Mon, 'Fo Shizzle!!!" And as quickly as it began... it ended!!! Thank God!!! I think they even returned the pirated copies. The check cleared without a glitch and that was that.
More over, an artist that I was producing at the time managed to land a record deal with non other than little old MADONNA. He also managed to win a LATIN GRAMMY for Best New Artist that same year. That made things a little better. By the way his name is Jorge Moreno. My travels through the Velveeta infested waters of the Music Industry have brought me to where I'm at today.
Drum roll please!! Behold my new project: REDEMPTION OF THE CHEESE. I have compiled tracks that I've been working on since about 2002 and put them together on one album.
Some songs are in Ingles and some are in Spanish. They cover genres like Rock, Punk, Hip Hop, R&B, Afro Cuban, Electronica, Jazz, Klezmer and a lot more which truly represent my musical odyssey. I personally think its the Greatest Album On Earth but then again Im pretty sure Kenny G. thinks his albums are the shit too.
You be the judge.
