My world now consist of 3 very special people and one crazy Jack Russell Terrier. One of the three people that I'm talking about is my husband Nick. We've been married going on 3 years now, and have been together for a total of 6. He is without a doubt my best friend and better half. Nick is an amazing husband and dad. He is the soul and heart of all of us. We've been though hell and high water together, but through it all, he has been the one constant reassuring rock in all of it. Without him I'dve probably lost my mind a long time ago. One of the other people I'm talking about is Alexander, or better known as Alex, Xander, or Xan. Hard to believe he is going on 2 already, seems like yesterday that Nick and I brought him home from the hospital, now here he is walking and talking. People say that Alex is super smart for his age. Currently Xander can point to any letter on anything and tell you what it is, he knows all his numbers 1-10, all his shapes, and colors as well. Just recently he has picked up on his states, which he knows about half of them. You just ask him where a state is and he can point to it on the map. Craziness. Nick and I did give Xander a brother. Just this November 13 we added Noah Vincent into our world. Noah is the most laid back mellow baby. The kid only cries when there is something wrong, and is happy just to sit back and watch the chaos all around him. He started smiling already and is almost ready to roll over. We are still not sure who Noah looks like, some days I think, man he looks like Alex and others I think no he looks like his mom. Time will tell. Noah has definately made our family complete. We do have another family member that I also need to mention and that is our crazy Jack Russell Terrier named Rossi. We added Rossi as my birthday/valentine day present in 2007, and since then Rossi has shown us what it is truly like to live with a Jack. Rossi is unpredictable, irrational, hyper and sometimes just down right annoying. Under all of that though there is the lovable, sweet, loyal dog. You just got to look under all the wiry hair, and the more than occasional annoyances listed above. To have a dog like Rossi in your life, you need to have a ton of time and patience, if you do then a Jack will be all the good things you want. If you don't they will become your worst nightmare. We still have all 3 cats. We hardly ever see them because they hate the dog and the dog hates them. We are still "weekend warriors" doing whatever around the house that we have the extra money for. It's something that we love to do and probably will do forever. Currently Nick and I still live out in North Branch, it's the sticks but it's home and the only place I want to be. I'm still a stay at home mom and will be for awhile. Personally it's the only job that I want in life. It's the most rewarding. It's definitely tough at times, but in the end I wouldn't have it any other way.
