My Interests



I like to read. I love talking with eldery people- they have so much to teach you. I like spending time with my kids when they're not at eachothers throats. I like being around people who make me laugh and smile. I'm not very outdoorsy but I'm willing to try most things once. I like to listen to music. I love to snuggle on the couch in front of the fireplace with the curtains open watching the rain on a cold but beautiful winter day. I like to hug. And I talk on the phone way too much!

Music:

I grew up a rocker but over the last five years I discovered the wonderful world of country music. I have an extensive 80's and 90's rock and pop cd collection but my country cd collection is quickly expanding.

Movies:

I like most kinds of movies. It really depends on who I go with and what kind of mood I am in. My kids and I love to watch horror movies together. I have rediscovered the enjoyment of kids movies now that I have a grandson. I am also always up for a good drama or chick flick. Action movies? Sometimes, depending on who the leading man is.

Television:

The reality show trend has really grown on me. I like Big Brother, The Amazing Race, American Idol and The Apprentice among others. I still enjoy shows like Law and Order and CSI. I like court tv, discovery channel and A&E. And oh yah, I can't pass up watching Spiderman, Batman and Sponge Bob with my grandson.

Books:


I love to read! Mostly fiction and mostly mystery. I don't care for mushy romance novels. I do like to read books that expand my knowledge in the medical field- I like to know what's new.

Heroes:

The men and women who fight for our country.
